Makan Kananian

Hello! I’m Makan Kananian, currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science at Bonn University and will be graduated in March/April 2027, with a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering. Currently I'm working as AI/Software Engineer at elipzis for around 2 years. Over the past 6 years, I’ve been actively involved in Machine and Deep Learning, working in research labs and taking on roles as a Data Scientist and AI/Software Engineer across a few companies.

My latest paper, Graph-Based Multi-Modal Fake News Detection, explores a unique blend of NLP and Graph Theory in a multi-modal approach. I won’t spoil all the details here, but if it sounds interesting, I’d love to chat and get your feedback!
